TORONTO HAS A NEW MAYOR. WELCOME TO MAYOR OLIVIA CHOW.

Olivia Chow has been elected Mayor of Toronto. I wish to congratulate her.

Our last two mayors have been right and right/centre politically.

They did nothing for the majority of Toronto residence and helped developers ruin downtown Toronto with a virus of sun blocking high rises.

Olivia Chow is centre-left politician. She is concerned about housing, transit, our overwhelmed infrastructure (water, sewage, streets), our health care, mental health, the homeless, seniors, equal rights, accessibility, pedestrians, and being responsive to the request for help from residents. Of course, the 1% are furious that they have lost control of the Mayor's Office and have declared that she will be a disastrous mayor. Personally, I know that she cannot possibly do as much harm to the city as the previous two right wing mayors. She will advanced the interest of the other 99% of Toronto residents.

For the first time in a decade, I am proud of who is the Mayor of Toronto. Welcome to you, Olivia Chow.
