SUNWING -- THE MOST INCOMPETENT AND CARELESS AIRLINE IN THE WORLD!!!

We took Sunwing vacations to Cayon Largo Cuba to stay at the Memories Cayo Largo resort. It is a great resort with absolutely incredible staff, and we enjoyed the week. Unfortunately, we had to fly back to Toronto using Sunwing.

Sunwing is the absolute worst. Sunwing loaded us into a plane and took us from Cayo Largo at 3 am (Saturday, March 4 2023) instead of waiting until the blizzard had ended in Toronto.

The pilot flew us right into the blizzard and of course we could not land in Toronto. We ended up in Windsor 370 kms (230 miles) west of Toronto.

Sunwing knew about the Blizzard and about Pearson Airport (Toronto) being closed. Still they flew us into the storm.

We ended up taking the VIA train home from Toronto at a cost of $193. Other passengers went to a hotel to wait for a Sunwing flight to Toronto. Sunwing kept delaying the flight. The last I heard, the flight to Toronto was delayed until 9:30 pm (Saturday) out of Windsor.

We took the train because we had no idea how long Sunwing would delay the flight. We had been up since 7:30 am Saturday, so we went to bed around 9 pm got up Sunday morning at around 7.

Never Sunwing again. The planes are small and cramped. The flight attendants are not friendly at all. They offered us nothing while we sat on the plane at Windsor for almost 3 hours while they decided what to do with us. The pilot had the heat blasting on the plane. Passengers were getting nausea from the heat. The flight attendants were standing in their coats by the open door to get some fresh air while the temperature in the plane continued to increase.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE AIR LINE!
