PFIZER AND MODERNA VACCINES -- BLOOD CLOTS AND OTHER CONCERNS

There seems to be media and medical focus on the fact that AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccines are associated with the development of blood clots. The good news about these vaccines are that they are easier to store and cost less than Pfizer and Moderna Vaccines.

More good news or bad news according to your beliefs about vaccines is that Pfizer and Moderna are also associated with blood clots.

"...there were 35 cases of serious blood clots with the vaccine made by Pfizer/BioNTech among 54 million doses given; five cases with the Moderna vaccine among 4 million Europeans dosed; and three cases, later updated to four, of blood clots with low platelet counts among 4.5 million people doses — apparently worldwide — with the vaccine developed by Johnson & Johnson. That is the number the U.S. appears to have updated to six cases out of 6.8 million doses."

"Researchers in Britain have found that one dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine provides insufficient protection against new variants of the COVID-19 virus and urged public-health officials to be vigilant about ensuring that people receive a second injection."
