ONTARIO HAS BECOME AN INSANE ASYLUM RUN BY HYSTERICAL PANIC -- GOOD AND BAD NEWS

"Premier Doug Ford announced on Thursday that the government will limit social gatherings in the three regions, where a majority of new coronavirus cases are located, to 10 people inside and 25 people outside, a change from the previous limit of 50 people inside and 100 outside. Ontario also introduced legislation to raise fines for breaking the rules, with a minimum fine of $10,000 for party organizers and $750 for anyone who attends the event."

I just checked some of the world medical websites and there is some good news. Apparently, this increase in Covid 19 cases is most likely being caused by the incredible increase in testing around the world. Pandemic and Infectious disease experts have always estimated that the actual Covid 19 cases were always considerably higher ( up to 10 times) because 99% of the infected have no or mild symptoms -- thus, they would not go to the hospital or be tested. That has changed since testing has become readily available. Thus, the world is probably getting a more accurate statistic about the actual number of cases. This "second wave" is more likely the result of available tests for free. In fact, since about August, WHO and the CDC have been advising that as testing becomes widely available, there will appear to be a second wave of Covid 19.

"The increased number of positive COVID-19 test results has followed the trend of the increase in testing.

"Prior to the mass increase in testing (plus 31.75 per cent, or 7,822 tests) on Sept. 10 and a further increase of 9.59 per cent on Sept. 11, both of which were the highest since the beginning of the pandemic by a large margin, the average turnaround time was 24 to 48 hours, with times often longer on weekends.

The testing laboratories had indicated that they were already stretched beyond capacity prior to this increase in testing.

More than 48 hours, and then add over 30 per cent beyond capacity, delayed most test results until they were released publicly on Sept. 14.

The 313 results released Monday morning were 32 per cent higher than the 213 results and are in keeping with what would be expected with the corresponding increase in testing.

All of the positive test results have consistently remained below one per cent (since) at least the beginning of June.

Also, as the Ontario case definition includes those who have no symptoms at time of testing and remain asymptomatic throughout the 14-day “active case” phase, these numbers become less alarming."

As the testing numbers in the past couple of days have dropped, one can reasonably expect the number of new “cases” to drop and remain below one per cent … if the backlog has been cleared."

So there was absolutely no SANE reason to reduce inside and outside groups to 10 and 25 respectively in Ontario anywhere.

The Bad News is that Ontario has become an asylum and the lunatics are running it.
